It is your brunch, and you can dress like you want to. You can pick a theme and have all of your friends dress up in the theme of the week. Feel free to wear a tiara if you want and just tell everyone it is your birthday. Whether that is your first stop after your walk of shame or you are pulling out your sexy flowy dress that makes you look over dressed for everything else, it is welcome at brunch. Did you recently buy a new pair of sunglasses, and you can’t tell if you look like Kylie Jenner or Willy Wonka? Doesn’t matter if it is trendy, fun or reflects your personality…wear them. From a floppy hat to your algebra leggings, you bought on the Smithsonian website.
Catching up with Friends
Has it been a while since you have caught up with your close friends? Getting together with friends isn’t something you should take for granted. Getting together with friends, while eating amazing food and drinking mimosas is even better.
Breakfast Lovers Unite
If you love breakfast food as much as I do, how can you go wrong with brunch. From themed flavored waffles to Shrimp and Grits. Brunch is what makes breakfast look boring. Not only is brunch food full of flavor, but it is also accompanied by so many fun drinks. A breakfast shot may convince a non-whiskey lover to fall in love with whiskey.
The Servers Get It
It is rare when you meet a brunch server that isn’t fun, funny or just downright cool. When you do meet server with resting bitch face you wonder why she took that shift. If you go to the right place it will feel like a party and they are your party ambassador. They keep the drinks flowing, the know when to check on you and how fast they need to bring out your food. Timing is everything. Getting the right servers that gets it is key.
Restaurant Hopping
If you love ambiance, trying new places and trying creative breakfast dishes, brunch is the perfect opportunity. Why not try a new restaurant without the commitment of dinner. Sit on the patio or out on the deck that overlooks the ocean. One week it could be jazz and the new week it could be that DJ you have been wanting to check out. No matter what your vibe is you can try on different restaurants to see which ones fit.
Instagram on Fleek
Nowadays cute Instagram walls and neon signs have become a part of brunch culture. Especially in the cities where you brunch hardcore. There are day parties that include good music and eating food with beautiful people. Now imagine capturing that fun backdrop on your Instagram or in your Tik Tok. Who doesn’t want to find a new place to brunch by watching other glamourous people brunch?
